This is a nice pair of vintage AR 4X stereo speakers made by Acoustic Research. They will need a little restoration. Although I know the grill covers come off, I tried but thought I would end up causing damage, so I stopped. These speakers are in good cosmetic condition but they have NOT been tested for operation. As you can see in the pictures, they each have their original AR badge and grills. The coloring of the grill covers is different. You can see this in the first picture. The darker grill cover has a couple of small holes (see pictures). The other one is good. Overall, given the age, both of them are in decent condition. The cabinets are in good condition, but there is a chip in the lower back side corner of one of the cabinet (see the pictures). The serial numbers for the speakers are FX188380 and FX188383.
