Nice vintage pair of AR-2 Acoustic Research- Acoustic Suspension Loudspeaker System- speakers. Wooden case with Cherry finish- according to labels on back. Nice sequential pair – #s B 59869 & B 59870. Meant to be installed horizontally- 1 long side of each not the cherry finish. Each measures 24 inches long; 13 ½ inches wide and 11 ½ inches deep. These are heavy – each weighs 32.5 pounds. Connected both to older stereo receiver and both gave nice sound. Some very light wear, scuffs and spatter marks; one small mark on the front edge (see pic); little bit of paint on some BACK edges (see pics) from where these were installed in a living room shelf system — overall nice looking pair!
