Show flat and well matched frequency response! Good/Fair Beautiful walnut veneer, interesting grain patterns. Reason these are not rated higher is due to some cosmetic repairs, one each speaker top, smaller than a dime. Other than that there are almost no undetectable scratches. In general they look as stunning as new from five feet away. Very Good- Original grill cloth with original AR-2ax logos. Excellent – All original. New foam on woofers. New felt surrounds on the midranges. A tiny nick on one tweeter, no harm. See frequency response sweeps showing optimal performance. Excellent New polypropylene film capacitors. Cleaned and lubricated attenuators, sound smooth. All electrical connection updated for excellent continuity. Very Good- A fantastic example of a great classic speaker in completely original condition. Tested to verify excellent like new performance. Be assured you will be receiving quality tested speakers.
