Acoustic Research AR90 speakers. I have recapped these baby’s and they sound GREAT. I will describe the sound as Identical as the AR9 without the deepest of lows….. But its pretty darn close! They have 2 x 10 inch woofers, 8 inch woofer, and a 1.5 dome midrange and the 3/4 dome tweeter. The drivers are identical to the AR9 except the 2 x10 inch woofers instead of 2 x12 inch woofers the AR9 has. Crossovers are the same as well, except for the woofer circuit (due to the 12 inch vs 10 inch woofers) The sound is smooooth, CLEAR, and very well balanced. All new NPE caps……. NPE caps are smooooth. Switches work perfectly I wouldn’t sell them, but I got another set now as a project, so……. If I get the right price Ill let them go. I have the Grills, the frames are in perfect shape, but they do need some new fabric, they are some small rough spots and tiny holes. I can only post 12 piccs, so I didnt waste the space on that.
