These are the legendary Acoustic Research AR9 speakers. These are the pinnacle of ARs engineering with the clearest of sound and depth of bass unsurpassed by any speaker they made before or after this time. The speakers don’t require any exotic amplification but do excel if you have some good clean power. All the surrounds have been recently replaced with high-quality type and correct dust caps. They sound awesome but will get even better once I replace all the capacitors. I have every capacitor in stock ready to install once I get time from a busy schedule. The condition is very good for their age with some bumps and bruises. Most of the bruising is on the back sides and back which you don’t see. I have all six grilles. The grilles are in solid condition frame wise but could use new grille cloths. To close things out here if you know anything about acoustic research you know these are the holy grail and don’t come up often. Please feel free to ask any questions.
