These speakers came from an estate sale, and they are in very nice condition considering the vintage. They have all of the original labels on the back, and the serial numbers are 2 numbers apart. The grill badges are missing, and the fabric has pulled away from the sides in various spots. I was able to pull the grill panel out enough on one of them to get a look at the drivers, and they look really good-see pictures. They were tested for several hours with the Fisher 500C receiver that they were used with, and the sound quality is excellent (My personal speaker systems over the years have included B&W, Magnaplanar, B&O, and vintage JBL, ESS, Quad, Dahlquist, and Altec Valencia, so I’m a pretty good judge). I took them up to a relatively high volume after warming them up for a few hours, and there are no rattles, distortion, or any other signs of voice coil or cone problems. Impedance measured 3.03.2 ohms when measured at the input terminals with the units bridged for normal operation, the slight variation depending on the position of the balance pot (the balance pots work correctly).
