Acoustic Research AR-2 Speakers. These are great vintage speakers. They have a very nice warm sound that is typical of vintage AR speakers. With a little work these would be a fantastic pair of vintage speakers for someone who will truly appreciate them. One of the speakers has a bit of distortion in the lower frequencies, it might just be the tweeter adjustment pot in the back. The other speaker seems to work fine. Both speakers are in fair cosmetic condition. The sides are in good shape, but the tops are pretty scratched up. See pictures for details. All heavy and fragile items will be double boxed to ensure extra protection. They will each be carefully packed with foam that will be cut to size to perfectly fit the speaker.
