Pair of Acoustic Research AR-2AX Speaker Cabinets – NEW OLD STOCK. These were obtained from a former employee of Acoustic Research. Cabinets only no crossovers, no speakers or grills included. Mint condition except both speakers had nicks on the rear corners which happened during the extended storage (see photos review closely). The screw holes do have metal threads installed on all holes. These look to be the last version of the speakers, they were built until the early 70’s. Review the photos carefully for compatibility to your AR drivers before purchasing. Dimensions are 13 1/2″ wide x 11 5/8″ deep x 23 7/8 tall. They weigh 25 lbs. Both cabinets stamped with number 281 inside.
