AR-2ax Speakers and professionally refurbished Sherwood S-7900 Combo the speakers are Untested. They should stay together. You should know that if you r interested and you probably know more about these than I do. The original owner put these in a closet 20 years ago in perfect working condition. (His wife got a grand piano and his stereo had to go lol). The Sherwood received has been professionally refurbished and restored. The wooden cabinet the receiver sits in is beautiful as are the speakers. The AR2ax speakers are being refurbished soon with new foam, potentiometers and capacitors. They are for sale now but not quite usable or tested. A few light scratches on the speakers but noting serious, cracked broken etc. The original owner did replace the original speaker cloth with this foam darker speaker kinda stuff, he said for the sound quality. If you want to go back to the original, speaker cloth is cheap. I travel all over North Carolina do I might be able to help. This is big heavy stuff. The speakers weigh 32 pounds each and the receiver is 30. So we can talk. I use heavy duty boxes that are reinforced. Everything is shrink wrapped and bubble wrapped.
