Really clean Original set in Fabulous Condition. Extremely Nice Looking Speaker Cabinets and Sound Quality! Matched Set of speakers and crossover components. Woofers are early production cloth surrounds beautiful condition see pictures. All Drivers are original and Matched. Woofers were sealed with Vintage AR cloth surround sealer to ensure Acoustical Integrity of Cabinets and Speakers. Tweeters are perfect and higher performance than the AR4X Tweeter see below. Original Ultra reliable toggle switch controls are perfect and will be super reliable long term. This set is special that the tone selector switch is 3 Way Normal, Increase, Decrease settings quite Rare model. These are highly reliable and perform as they should. Speakers have been thoroughly tested and sound fantastic. Truly these perform better than any AR4X, in my opinion, I have worked on 100’s of AR4X’s. These tweeters were considered an advance and were also featured in several wiring configurations in the AR5, AR6 and AR7. Grills and Badges are in extremely nice condition. ONLY one minor mark to grill see pictures. Cabinets are in great condition, please review for acceptance. Felt pads are still installed to woofer bottoms. And NOT plastic laminate. Finish is Dark Walnut in appearance, quite nice don’t see too many like this mostly are plastic covered veneers. Technically this set of speakers sound great and will operate reliably for a long time. The Ar-4xa is the improved version of the world´s most widely used high fidelity speaker system, the AR-4x.
