Pair of Acoustic Research. The cabinet on these is an Oiled Walnut Veneer. Each cabinet shows some minor signs of wear…… But overall in exceptional condition. Originally these were designed as “horizontal placement” speakers…. You don’t see them like this too often. Front grills on each are original… Grill is a woven cloth like material… Both speakers have the AR metal emblem/badge…. One has the “a” emblem/badge that came on the AR-2ax from this era. Original paper tags are still affixed to the back of each… These have been tested and are fully functional…. Great sound and wonderful range can be heard. These would make an awesome set of speakers for your vintage vinyl player or stereo system. Each measures 11.5″ x 13.5″ x 23.75.
