Serial #020117 on one of the speakers! Labels on the other speaker are missing but both speakers look the same and should be an actual pair. In this listing, I threw in 2 monster cable speaker wires (see pic #12). I picked these speakers up from the original owner and from what he said they had been stored in his closet for decades. Grills have never been removed so I don’t know what the speakers actually look like or their condition. Cosmetically, they do have some wear scratches, chips on a couple of the corners, etc. For a 50+ year old pair of speakers they look good to me. I’m not an audio buff and don’t know much about these AR-2ax speakers but feel free to message me with any questions or concerns you may have and I will promptly respond. I can also provide more pictures if wanted. I tried hooking these up to my Sony Digital Audio/Video Control Center Receiver and they came on so they do work but do to my novice experience in this field I don’t know what I’m listening for or how they should sound. The mid & high knobs work but do crackle a bit and probably need to be cleaned or serviced. I will do my best to resolve any issues.
