Legendary Acoustic Research AR9 speakers by Teledyne. Recently refoamed, this 4 way, 10 driver system rocks all kinds of music. Loud and punchy bass but clean and detailed mids and highs. They still live up to the reviews. The cabinets aren’t perfect – there is a repair in the side of one and the grilles for the 4 side firing woofers are missing. Also, this was my first grille cloth replacement. It’s fine but could be better. Worth the drive up to beautiful Humboldt County! Check out my other listings for more great speakers!
