I spared no expense to see just how good a Ar3a could become with some modern drivers. Had the work farmed out to a experienced professional. He chose Morel and Scan Speak drivers and re capped the cross overs and had the cabs refinished. I spent more on just the 4 drivers than my asking price! I had another pair of stock Ar3a’s and did a/b tests and there was no comparison. These destroyed the stock pair but if you are a purist… Not for you/ binding posts upgraded and pesky trim pots removed.
