Tweeters can cut in and out on one speaker, but come back if you wiggle the crossover. Great candidate for a full restoration.

Listed is a pair of Acoustic Research AR LST 2 speakers. Recently refoamed woofers by Millersound, one of the best in the industry. All original drivers and grille cloths. Not just tested but played and enjoyed, from Loreena McKennitt to Bach Organ Pieces. 7 drivers in each cabinet, multi directional design make even a smaller room sound like a concert hall. Once hooked up to a Carver 500 with no issues. Walnut cabinets look great even with very minor wear. Original grille cloths are clean except for 2 small smudges seen in photos. The weave is tight with no holes or tears. Located just outside of Philadelphia. Any questions or requests for more photos, just ask. Enjoyed and well played over the years but never abused.

Beautiful mid century modern Oak wood stereo console. Premium components in stunning condition. Functional and sounds absolutely amazing. 76 Long credenza style console. Sherwood S 5000ii 80w stereo tube amplifier. Elegant design with white faceplate and gold trim. Copper plated steel chassis. 7591×4 Sylvania output tubes. Green magic eye tuning indicator. Sherwood S-3MX tube FM stereo multiplex adapter. Convert FM mono to FM stereo. Garrard Type A turntable: Classic British built, 4 speed, automatic/manual record changer. Shure M7D cartridge and N7Dstylus. Acoustic Research AR4X speakers: Renowned two way acoustic suspension speaker. 8 inch woofer, 2.5 wide dispersion tweeter. Upon opening the console speaker enclosure I found the AR speakers to be in mint condition with unfinished pine cabinets. Most likely sealed for the past 60 years. Here is your chance to own this amazing piece of Hi-Fi audio history. A timeless centerpiece to any room. I have never seen a console match the condition, premium components, and build quality of this unit. This console is extremely heavy and large. Will require multiple people to safely move with an adequate trailer or moving van/truck.

Speakers have been tested and work. Cosmetically could use a nice sand and restrain. They would look brand new.
