Get cleaner more dynamic midrange and highs with new level of resolution from your AR3a with this upgrade. Upgrade consists of the following. Install all new parts including Hi-Fi Nedlab film capacitors. Low distortion “perfect lay” inductors Install new OFC pure copper wire. Can be made for either level control use or locked into the (0) flat position with resistors and bypass the Level controls. Fully tested on lab analyzer comes with frequency response test sheets. Matched pairs to +/-0.5db max deviation. 20+ years of experience in hi fidelity crossover design. They started irritating me awhile back. So I got these new crossovers. They sound like a new speaker. Results are in a word SUPERB. What an amazing difference the crossovers make. The mids and highs actually sound transparent. Excellent, item as described great packing, improved sound detail, impressed! Take a look at my other interesting audio related auctions.

Beautiful mid century modern Oak wood stereo console. Premium components in stunning condition. Functional and sounds absolutely amazing. 76 Long credenza style console. Sherwood S 5000ii 80w stereo tube amplifier. Elegant design with white faceplate and gold trim. Copper plated steel chassis. 7591×4 Sylvania output tubes. Green magic eye tuning indicator. Sherwood S-3MX tube FM stereo multiplex adapter. Convert FM mono to FM stereo. Garrard Type A turntable: Classic British built, 4 speed, automatic/manual record changer. Shure M7D cartridge and N7Dstylus. Acoustic Research AR4X speakers: Renowned two way acoustic suspension speaker. 8 inch woofer, 2.5 wide dispersion tweeter. Upon opening the console speaker enclosure I found the AR speakers to be in mint condition with unfinished pine cabinets. Most likely sealed for the past 60 years. Here is your chance to own this amazing piece of Hi-Fi audio history. A timeless centerpiece to any room. I have never seen a console match the condition, premium components, and build quality of this unit. This console is extremely heavy and large. Will require multiple people to safely move with an adequate trailer or moving van/truck.
