For your consideration: ACOUSTIC RESEARCH AR-7 SPEAKERS (2), Vintage Early 1970s, in Excellent Pre-Owned Condition (Tested, Working). Now I will attempt to absolutely pick these apart. The foam speaker surrounds need to be replaced, as they virtually disintegrate over time. The AR-7 badge is missing from front/right of one grill. Same grill mentioned in 2. Has a stain in top/right quadrant of cloth. Walnut veneer is excellent, but looks thirsty. None of the above items effect the functionality of the speakers. Otherwise, they are in extraordinary condition given their age. Type: 2 way, 2 driver. Recommended Amplifier: 15W (minimum). Bass: 1 x 203mm cone. Tweeter: 1 x 32mm cone. Enclosure: 9.77 liter, sealed. Dimensions: 247 x 400 x 146mm. These speakers by Acoustic Research make a statement (please see all photos for details), and are sure to be noticed and admired in any Audiophile collection. Acoustic Research has been widely recognized as a pre mier leader in the early electronics marketplace, and their legendary style and craftsmanship is on full display in this set of AR-7s. Pair these with with a vintage premium receiver to hear the difference. D ont miss out on a rare opportunity to grab a vintage part of our audio heritage. Please note that our items are 100% authentic. The condition and size of our items are accurately stated in the items listing and depicted in the photos. Used Acoustic Research AR-7 Speakers. New surrounds have been installed on both woofers. After fixing the woofers i tested the speakers and they. The covers are in good condition. I used “Restore A Finish” to remove some residue from the walnut veneer. In that process some of the finish was dulled. But for their age the veneer is still. In go od condition.
