Speakers in good shape for their age. Grilles are not perfect, but nothing very noticeable. A couple of small dents on the top of one speaker. Does not hurt integrity of the build. These fill a room very well and would be at home in a home theater or 2 channel set up.

Crossovers were glued inside box and the wires to tweeter were heavily glued explaining the extra lengths with the Spade connectors.

The Acoustic Research AR58B speakers are a vintage pair of units manufactured in the United States. These speakers are known for their quality sound and design, featuring a satin black finish. The pair of speakers have been tested and are in good condition, making them a desirable addition to any vintage audio setup. Pair of Acoustic Research AR58B speakers in excellent condition. Freshly re-foamed and tested. Vinyl dyed satin black. Deep rich bass, silky smooth midrange, and transparent, airy highs. I love these speakers, but have run out of space so they must go to a new home. Originally wood grain vinyl. Now painted satin black with vinyl die. Grilles are dark brown fabric. Can deliver to within 10 miles of Cupertino.
