Hello Collectors and music lovers, today we have a great pair of Vintage Teledyne Acoustic Research AR 58s Floor Speakers. The cabinets have few if any nicks and chips because they were put in bookshelves forever. Please view the photo. These are solid speakers throughout and they sound incredible. We replaced both woofer foam surrounds which adds a nice touch for its new home. The speaker grills are identical, original, and in perfect conditions. Acoustic suspension, or “sealed box, ” designs use a woofer with soft suspension components. The air sealed inside the cabinet acts as a spring to return the cone to its “rest” position and control the system resonance. Fantastic sounding speakers, it uses the same woofers as the legendary AR9 speakers, so you get that great bass. AR58s have become very hard to find. These were limited in production and are considered by some as rare. Unpacked dimension, packing and boxes. I PREFER LOCAL PICK-UP, IN THIS MANNER YOU CAN LOOK AT THE SPEAKERS AND HEAR THEM TOO.
