This is a Meyer MS1401A compression driver that is tested and functional. Comes with Design Direct Sound CFD 2-51 Pro horn flare, which is a 51deg. The horn flare was modified to match the mounting bolt pattern of the compression driver.

Woofer 4 Ohm, 12 High Output 90 dB 250 Watts AR Acoustic Research replacement. This is our Mavin EM-TL3006Y-4, a excellent sounding woofer, great for a Acoustic Research replacement, or for a new system design. The EM-TL3006Y-4, is a 4 ohm high end speaker with a durable stiff paper cone and a no rot rubber surround. Meaning this speaker will last for a great many years, unlike the foam surrounds. In fact I spent a couple of years researching and checking out companies until I found the one I wanted to use. A choice based on the Quality, Workmanship, and the Fidelity of Sound, price wasn’t a big issue, but having a quality product was. My EM-Tl3006Y-4, is a 12, 4 ohm, 250 watt driver high output driver. Rated SPl is a minimum 90 dB through the practical frequency range, which is 30 Hz. The SPL drops to 89.4 dB at 20 Hz. Which is still very good. Better than industry standards is what I was looking for and I know you will find that the EM-TL3006Y-4 is just that above the rest in sound,, quality and workmanship. What is standard about the driver is the fit, it drops into any standard opening designed for a 12 speaker. I think you will find the specifications speaks for themself, they are in line with any and all of the major brands used in speakers. Whether you aree looking for a drop in replacement for an old set of Pioneers, Yamaha’s, Klipsch, JBL or Cerwin Vegas, this speaker will drop ring in and bring that speaker back to life. Duarability was another factor, instead of going with the industry standard foam surrounds that die in a few years, we chose to go with a durable and long lasting rubber surround. A surround that offers the best performance and increased speaker life, although the cost is slightly higher it is paid back in the added years of continued speaker performance.
