I modified one empty ar1w cabinet, and then made a copy of that one. I then venered both with dark walnut. I was using the original ar3a woofers, along with some 8 mid/tweeters. They sounded very good. PICS SHOWING DARKER WOOD GRAIN IS MORE REALISTIC. A couple pics show blondish color, not true color. THE MID TWEETER OPENINGS ARE DESIGNED FOR EITHER OPEN BACK MIDS OR CLOSE BACK MIDS AS I HAVE BUILT IN A SEALED MTG CHAMBER FOR THOSE ITEMS. THE COPIED CAB DOES HAVE SOME INTERNAL WOOD BRACING AS WELL. COMES WITH 2 HOME MADE SPEAKER GRILLS THAT PROBABLY NEED TO BE PROPERLY FITTED TO THE CABS. ALSO COMES WITH 1 CONNECT PANEL. Looks old, maybe original. Also comes with some some ar1 papers. Ps, the labels on the back of these cabs were home made. Just so you know. If you win, you will have to carry them up some basement steps. I used to be able to do that all day long, but now have to many medical issues to do that any more. I have a lot of nicely restored speakers i have to sell. Ar3a’s ar5’s, ar2ax’s, ar4x’s. And lots of raw ar drivers also. See and hear for yourself how good they look, and how nice they sound.
