These are the early model type using the AR4. Later models used the AR4X Tweeter. They have been in my personal collection for many years. These Speakers are amazing The Bass is incredible and the clarity and presence is superb. The condition in all aspects is exceptional. New CAPS, reconditioned Pots to original performance. Woofers spyders and baskets re-glued sealed with Vintage AR Surround sealer. Grills, cabinets and badges are in fantastic condition. Make someone Happy this season, maybe yourself. Packaging is extensive and safe. The bass line is, as we have come to expect from AR, exemplary; well-defined and clean. The highs are quite open strong fundamental bass to just below 40 Hz response upward from here is uniform, smooth and remarkably well dispersed all about the speaker. Clean, balanced and wide range. From under 50 cycles to beyond audibility this speaker will reproduce what is fed to it with clarity and with honesty. Its strengths lie in an unusual smoothness and lack of any harshness whatsoever.
