Three pairs of vintage AR speakers. The tweeters on the AR-2AX’s can cut out, but if you fiddle with the crossover controls you can bring them back in. They do sound great when dialed in. Cosmetically there’s some candle wax on the back of one cabinet as well as various nicks and scratches, etc. Great pair for a full restoration with relatively close production #’s. The AR 4X’s with original grill cloth sound like the tweeters are out. Woofers sound good though. Cabs definitely need a refin. Good pair for restoration or parts. The 4xa’s are fully functioning and in nice cosmetic condition. There is a stain on one of the grill clothes though.

This pair in my opinion, looks good, (I WEAR STRONG GLASSES) sounds good. (I WEAR HEARING AIDS) i believe it is an early model as it has the orange dome tweeters, and the cloth surround woofers. THESE ARE OVER 50 YEARS OLD AND I WELCOME YOU TO VISIT AND SEE AND HEAR FOR YOURSELF HOW THEY LOOK AND HOW THEY SOUND. I DO IT AS A HOBBY. Then you can see how they look and how they sound. Ps if you do choose to pick them up you must be able to lift both of them and take them up some steps from my basement. They weigh maybe 45 -50# each. They will be insured for the price paid.
