I the turntable a while ago with the intent of wanting to have another AR XA. This is a nice example as previous owner refinished the top (gray) plate. It’s in darkish forest green. Motor runs quiet and smooth. I believe there is an adapter on the sub-platter suspension to accommodate more common arms (maybe a Rega). It was originally outfitted with a Mayware arm which is also for sale in different listing. I decided/realized that I have too many projects to deal with and enough turntables to keep my happy (4 others), and turntables tale up a lot of real estate since you can really stack them like other components lol. The unit does not come with a dust cover or bottom plate. Cosmetically it looks very nice; I polished the platter sides (platter does not have corrosion et al). You can of course polish the entire thing and make it sparkle and use a transparent type platter mat or no mat at all. Walnut base is in excellent condition and AR badge is present. Get a suitable arm/cartridge and it is easy to see why the well designed classic AR turntable is still so popular and sought after today. Great engineering does not go out of style. Comes from a smoke free home.

Pair of vintage Acoustic Research GCS 200 6×9 component plate speakers. High end and they STILL sound great as they are! VERY rare speakers from around 1985. I’ve never come across another pair.
