Housing a 3/4″ exposed soft dome tweeter and a 1 1/2″ exposed dome midrange, which utilizes Acoustic Research’s Filtered Soft Dome Technology, the AR 302 delivers silky highs and smooth midrange, while its 10 acoustic suspension long-throw woofer fills in bottom octaves with powerful, extended bass. For those who want a reference quality performance in a compact package, the AR 302 represents an excellent value, offering topflight performance. The cone is made of rigid felted paper and when combines with a very compliant surround, it acts like a piston.
