Vintage Acoustic Research Stand Mount / Bookshelf AR18S HiFi Speakers – 60 W. In full working order with new rubber surrounds. One cabinet corner is slightly chipped – see pictures. The speaker surrounds are made of high quality rubber, pliable, anti-aging and durable. They are very close substitute for surround foams but with plenty of life in them. The cabinets were refinished with danish oil and the. Front covers fabric have been replaced. Great sound and great look! Comes with front covers. The mid range, high range and the bass are wonderful, bass is deep, tight and controlled. One of the best little speaker ever. The feedback received for these speakers will best describe them. Probably need to spend well over a grand to get a modern equivalent. Just need to get a decent DAC now. Restored & packed well.
