ACOUSTIC RESEARCH SPEAKERS AR-4x Vintage Pair Oiled Walnut. These AR-4x speakers are highly regarded and sought after mid century speakers. They sound and look great for their age. Serial Numbers are: FX-108350 and FX-124850. Cabinet measurements: 19 x 10 x 9 Very good cosmetic condition with original drivers all working as they should. The high frequency control pots are just a tad gappy and work but will need to be cleaned at some point. The top and bottom end panels have their share of scratches in the finish. Please see the photos. The grille of one of these is still attached quite well with no attempts to remove it. The grille front on the other one had been removed at some point (not by me). The grille fabric on both speakers is in very good condition with very few stains. New owner may want to re-cap the cross-overs. I simply do not have time or the proper tools to refurbish these.
