Serial #s D73823 & D66194. Pictures show close ups of one speaker. They are identical other than one has had a couple surfaces steel wooled to reveal how perfect they are when rubbed down. Having been a big fan of the AR speakers over the years I have been privy to seeing many pairs but this set is by far the best cared for. You will likely not see a better vintage pair of AR2a speakers than these. The grills have never been removed and the owner says they were never setup where they got direct sunlight and you can certainly tell. The walnut veneer is in wonderful condition and with a little steel wool and Watco Danish Oil rubdown they will look virtually new. I steel wooled #000 one of the veneer surfaces of the one I took pictures of. You can see how immaculate they are. All corners are crisp and sharp. The grill cloth well preserved and have never been removed.. Hard to believe they are almost 52 years old. I did not hook these up and listen to them altho’ the owner assured me they are working. Speakers of this age that have attenuation controls usually will need some form of maintenance especially when sitting idle for many years. The speakers are 13 1/2″ W x 11 1/2″ D x 23 3/4 H and weight approx 38lbs each. I will not charge additionally for my own time but UPS will charge to box. You could even deal with UPS or?
