A beautiful pair of Acoustic Research AR-3a Improved speakers are in excellent condition cosmetically and sonically. This is one of the most desirable pair of speakers ever made and one of Acoustic Research’s claim to fame. 3 Way speaker design with 12” acoustic-suspension woofer, 1.5” dome midrange and 3/4” dome tweeter. Original Logo, grill cloths and all original drivers with new foam surrounds, all original internal components with upgraded tweeter and mid range capacitors to protect the vintage drivers and to preserved optimum detailed sound. Cabinets are in excellent condition with only minor marks on top of one speaker which has bottom back corner ding as well. Overall these are my personal pair or AR-3a which I hate to let go! A true classic speaker which sound amazing with excellent clarity, warm and neutral midrange with deep tight bass. S in two separate boxes.
