Please read entire description. Here we have an absolutely beautiful pair of classic Acoustic Research AR-4x two way book shelf speakers. Great AR sound in a small package. I believe that these may started life as the plain wood version. I might be wrong, but it appears so. Now, whoever finished them did a marvelous job. Take a look at the pictures for the detail. The bottoms have added green felt, again, very nicely done. I installed the recommended phelonic ring tweeters and they sound wonderful. The speakers have the original cross over caps but they still sound great to my ears. The rheostat could use a good cleaning as it can be finicky. Overall, these things are wonderful. Oh, as seen in the picture, I will include the bad original tweeters. Should you have any questions, please ask.
