Quite possibly the best AR series speakers I’ve acquired, asthetically. I love all the AR series, and I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. These are fresh off a 12 total hour restoration. The corners are great. Sanding and finish could not have gone easier, due to the condition they were already in. I installed new, Simply Speakers, surrounds. The pots are still in very good shape, with only a slight cutout when turning. But once adjusted to your liking, they stay perfectly. A lot of the 12 hour restoration, went into getting the speakers out of the cabs, and then cleaning off all the duct seal, with a ton of razor blade removal, and sanding the speaker buckets, and cones, to get a perfect surface for the new surrounds. I wish I could add the pictures of the restoration here, but I’m at my picture limit. The speakers grills are original, and in good shape overall. But, there were 2 stains at the bottom of each, I just couldn’t remove fully. A little spray dye will take care of this. Also, the badges are scuffed up a bit. You will love these! Perfect in any room. I even have the original boxes, w/inserts, that will be included. I will double box. I pack extremely well, no disappointments. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
