I picked these up from a local estate a few months ago from the original owner, as I have a soft spot for vintage stereo equipment. They were missing their original woofers (the owner said they had died), so I replaced them with new 12 woofers from Acoustic Research and they sound great. While I listen to music A LOT, I dont consider myself an audiophile or electronics expert. I personally tested both speakers as best I could with a number of genres of music and didnt notice any issues with either woofers or any of the tweeters. Cosmetically, there is a small amount of wear to the tops of both cabinets, mainly in the form of a few scuffs and some small water marks. The grills are in good condition with no rips or tears, but there is a small amount of staining and some rub marks along the edges of the panels. Please see pictures for details. I pack in heavy duty boxes with several inches of solid foam board on each side, to minimize damage.
