AR 3a Speaker pair for parts or restore Vintage Acoustic Research. Acoustic Research AR 3a speakers. They are in need of full restoration. I tested them and both woofers work and sound amazing. The tweeters and midranges made no sound though. I have not tried to repair these or clean them up. I own a pair of AR LST-2 which are fantastic. I planned on restoring these but decided not to. The grill cloth is gone, but the frames are still good. Both AR 3a badges present. Cabinets are in fairly good shape, could definitely be brought back to life.
