I noted that two round pieces of foam are missing from 1 box, these are used to plug the 2 rear ports if you want to convert these from vented to sealed. Any plug will do, but most people would probably prefer the deeper bass from the vented design anyway. Here are the specs I found. Woofer Materials: The dual woofer cones are made of coated cellulose (a paper product), and the woofer surrounds are rubber. This combination of cone materials produces a flex-resistant and durable woofer with natural tonality. Tweeter Material: The 1 dome tweeter is made of silk. Cabinet Cosmetics: The cabinet top, bottom, back and sides are laminated with wood grained vinyl. The front panel of each speaker cabinet is painted gloss black; the painting process used for the front panels produces a textured, glossy finish. Dual 5-Way Binding Posts: There are two pairs of gold plated 5-way binding posts connected by gold-plated jumpers. If desired you can either bi-amp, use one amp for the tweeter and another for the woofers, or bi-wire the speakers. Variable Bass Damping: The included foam port plugs may be inserted into the ports to reduce bass output. This feature is especially useful when the speakers are placed in locations that reinforce and over-emphasized bass output. Spikes are provided for optimum stability and to firmly couple the speakers to the floor for improved bass performance. If used on hardwood floors where spikes would cause damage, you may use the supplied metal floor protector discs. When installed, the spiked feet add 3/4 to the overall speaker height.
