For Sale is an incredible pair of Acoustic Research AR11b’s. These were the most accurate speakers ever designed by AR. And this pair is in great shape. Drivers have been professionally reformed. The cabs are in very nice shape with only minor expected wear from over the decades. Amazingly the grille covers are in very nice shape and very usable, which is very are for this model. This pair is all original, and functioning extremely well. The sound produced form this set is heavenly. I have tested them with both high powered Marantz receivers as well as my low powered tube driven Fisher 500c. Both have beautiful results. These speakers are speced at 86db/watt, and suggest anywhere from a 20 watt amplifier to 150 watt. I feel they are much more effeicnt than the specs suggest, which is typical for AR reporting. IN any case these are a very rare find, and will be great addition to any collector or stereo set-up. Please ask questions if you have them!!!
