This listing is for a pair of AR 98LSi speakers. These speakers are well regarded with audiophiles due to their great sound. When you pick these up, you can give them a listen and see for yourself. I can have these ready for listening in 5 minutes. The speakers themselves are in near perfect shape. The surround material on the drivers is strong, no brittle. No holes or punctures. Only issue I can see is some small amount of dimpling to one of the 8 driver…. Tweeters are perfect, and sounding perfect. The cabinets will need to be resurfaced and refinished as there at a lot of scratches on them. None super deep, but they do distract from the overall appearance. These a very heavy wood speakers. The grills include the original badges and they are in decent shape. I would say they do not need to be redone if you can live with minor imperfections due to their age. Serial numbers are consecutive: 01642 & 01643. So I would just rather not mess with that. Feel free to arrange your own transportation. I will accommodate however I can.
