A very nice pair of one owner AR3a speakers in excellent and rare original condition. These beautiful AR’s are the best I have owned. And that is fantastic for a forty-eight year old speaker! The only thing I updated was the capacitors with Dayton caps. I cleaned the pots and added dialectic grease to them…. And they work fine. I have received many compliments on the mid ranges on these AR’s with one audio guy saying it is the best he heard. I kept the original grill material on these speakers as it just begs to be shown with original. The badges were cleaned and look excellent. The sound is just beautiful on these with smooth as butter bass on those wonderful alnico woofers! What is rare is the original boxes that come with these gorgeous speakers. In pretty good shape for boxes that are of this age. And reeks of audio history. The serial numbers on box match the ones on speakers and the serial numbers are not far apart so spent their life together. I will very carefully pack the AR’s in their original boxes with the original packing and add pink Styrofoam where needed…. Continental addresses only with signature required.
