Up for sale is an old pair of Acoustic Research AR-3a speakers. Both original woofers have been refoamed and the midrange speakers might of had some work also. The tweeters work great but have a tiny dent in the nipple (thought I would never say something like that). They sound great but it takes a little adjusting with the knobs on the back to make them sound the way it should (which is common with these). I didnt want to replace the crossovers and will leave it the way it is for you to decide. The badges are replacements. Please look at the pics for the cosmetic condition. The grills look very good and the cabs just had Howards Feednwax applied. The ring on the top of one of them looks to have had some try to to sand it down but took away the wood grain. It still feels level with the rest of the wood and probably could be restained but could be wrong. I never tried because I always had something cover it.
