One audiophile owner cherished these highly collectible AR-3 speakers since new. Both of these 3-way speakers produce music. The original woofers have the fabric reinforced surrounds which are still flexible and in operable shape. Both mids and dome tweeters were confirmed to be making sound by using a sound probe at close range. The oiled walnut veneer cabinets are beautiful and the sides are remarkably free of significant scratches or dings. There are a couple of small edge chips on each speaker but only one is visible from the front – tops have minor scuffs and scattered small marks. Both speakers have the original “AR” logo and speaker grills. Some fraying of grill fabric at the edges, one grill frame has a crack but still holds the fabric, Both speakers have original paper ID label on the back with the serial numbers. Get these desirable and collectible speakers while you can! These will be carefully packed in 2 individual boxes with foam filler between the speaker and box for protection.
