Our Acoustic Research 7.1 speaker system consists of four 308 HO floor standing speakers, two Edge bookshelf surround speakers, one CS25 HO center speaker and one massive ground shaking S115PSB 15″ down firing subwoofer (16″ H x 19″ W x 19″ D, 66 lbs). Each of the 308 HO speakers (19″ H x 8.5″ W x 13″ D, 30 lbs) has a 1″ aerofoam dome tweeter, 5.25″ midrange driver and 8″ side firing long throw woofer and they can be wired traditionally or bi-amped/bi-wired (Google it if you aren’t familiar with those terms). The picture of our entertainment center shows the CS25 HO center speaker and two Edge speakers on top. Two of the four 308 HO speakers are used as our main front speakers and they are tucked in cabinets behind doors at the bottom left and right. We used the other two 308 HO speakers as left/right surround speakers with one of them sitting in the corner of the room on top of the S115PSB 15 subwoofer and the other on top of a small table on the other side of the room. All of the speakers plus the subwoofer are black and in excellent condition (only minor marks or scratches on some) with all speaker covers included. Due to the size and weight of this AR speaker system, I will only sell it to someone local who is willing to come pick it up or I can deliver it to you if you aren’t too far away.
