Acoustic Research AR-3a Midrange Drivers. His offering is for a matched pair of NEW OEM AR-3a Midrange Drivers. They will also work as AR-LST replacements. This pair was manufactured to AR specifications in the early 1990s by the Tonegen Company of Osaka, Japan. Tonegen was well-known as a high-quality OEM loudspeaker supplier, and in their later years AR used Tonegen for all loudspeaker service replacements. Their construction is identical to the original AR midranges. Part number is: 1210010-1A. I just bench tested them with my iPhone-based signal generator and dB meter. Their output is well-matched, and they reproduce frequencies from 200Hz up to 12kHz- well within their specified crossover range. DCR for both units is about 3-ohms, confirming their applicability to ARs 4-ohm speaker designs. I will include the mounting gaskets.
