For sale is an Acoustic Research XA Turntable suitable for a restoration project. This is from a collector’s estate and I’ve had it in the box for a couple of years and I recently unboxed it for inspection prior to the sale. I have found the following: I installed the belt and platter and it spins up properly and quietly. I did not check the speed. The following pieces are missing: The dust cover, headshell, front insignia, and the screws for bottom cover. I think that’s it but please look at the photos as I photographed everything but a plastic gauge which was tucked into the packaging and I didn’t see it until I boxed it up again. It looks like a stylus overhang gauge or some other alignment tool. Please see the detailed photos for more on condition. Guaranteed to be as described.
