These are for parts OR restoration (these are definately worth restoring). Cabinets are in excellent shape for being 55 years old! No water or corner damage at all. Woofers look and work just fine. There is no output from tweeters (common). Either caps need to be replaced and/or tweeter level controls need cleaning. In troubleshooting, I connected directly to tweeters bypassing the level control and crossover and tweeters do have output. Only physical issue is the the glue for the surround on one tweeter has dried up and the surround has separated from the frame (repairable). Grilles are in excellent shape, no tears, rips or pulls but have that vintage discoloration over the years. In testing out, the speakers, grilles were carefully removed and all hot glue originally used to secure them was removed. Grilles are easily removable now. Perfect candidate for restoration looking for a good, new home. These can be restored for minimal cost, a couple of caps and a little elbow grease.
