Available is a pair of vintage Acoustic Research AR-9 loudspeakers. These are tall (very heavy) floor standing models. Each has dual 12 woofers per cabinet, both side firing. A low-midrange driver, high midrange, and tweeter in front. Adjustable gains are also on the lower front. The crossovers are very stout i noticed, when refoaming the woofers. The input terminals are ready for bi-amp applications. The lower right/front corner edge of 1 cabinet has veneer that has been comprised, as shown in photos. All grills (6 in total) are in very decent condition with very minor flaws on some corners (woofer grills on the bottom sides). Front grilles are clean, and have the original nameplates intact. Woofer foams were redone with AR specific 11 surrounds. One woofer needed a centercap, which was replaced. The 8 LMR’s also received new foams. Mids and tweeters work perfectly, no work was performed. Attractive walnut-adorned heavyweight towers from approx mid to late 70’s with high dynamic range and high output.
