This is a pair of Accoustic Research AR-8 speakers manufactured in 1973. If you’re unfamiliar these were not their better models. The cabinets are in fair shape, but the bottoms are scratched up. They are particle board with vinyl wrap. The internal components are new from Parts Express. They have 10 inch foam surround woofers and dome tweeters. The crossover caps are new polypropylene. These were given to me by the original owner. I thought the would be an interesting project for restoration. I’d like to sell them to somone in Ohio who could pick them up. I will consider offers on these. As you can tell from the pictures these speakers have been fully cat Scanned.
