Up for sale a pair of beautifully restored, and re-finished AR9 speakers with all original drivers and a copy of the ORIGINAL AR9 OWNER’S REFERENCE MANUAL from TELEDYNE ACOUSTIC RESEARCH. In this owner’s manual you will find all the information need! During the restoration, all original material was used from Vintage AR. The speakers are look and sound fantastic as they should. Near-mint condition 9 + out of 10!! Just take a look at the pictures. Woofer surrounds and dust caps are all brand new, installed McIntosh legs to the bottom of the cabinets, this way it will not vibrate the floor + it looks much nicer. It would be a fantastic gift for someone who loves music or movies for sure because their is nothing to do on them, just enjoy the high quality sound of it. Not for nothing but this pair is the closest to a new pair of AR9’s you will find anywhere. This speakers are rated for 400 watts RMS/speakers at 4 ohms, at 18-30000Hz. You will not need a sub-woofer!!! Also they can be By-wired, or By-Amp connection on it. When you do this connection you will get the best out of them. This speakers are heavy/ 130 pounds/ speaker. As you can see on the pictures the re-foaming process was done on the correct way, all voice-coils where shimmed and centered with the magnet so it is a 100% center. No short cuts on it!!! All contact points are soldered inside of the speakers, this way no loose connection. All binding posts were replaced with heavy-duty Gold Plated ones. So I can provide more information.
