I jammed out with these for long enough to test. They work well despite the woofer condition (will need reconing) and everything seemed to be working correctly. I did not notice a difference in sound when hitting the switch in the back, but my little Denon receiver might not have been giving it all it needed. I merely hooked them up and checked speaker function. Cabs do show marks and wear but overall really good shape no visible mold mildew or rot. Came from a seemingly smoke and pet free home when I picked them up at an estate sale.
