The previous owner had the unit professionally cleaned for corrosion and crackling. However, some crackling remains due to age-related deterioration in the attenuator, etc. As shown in the photos, the connections around the unit on the front of the unit are protected with tape. There is a chip in the corner. The label on the back of the unit reads 10/73, so it is believed to be a late-model AR-3a manufactured in October 1973.
