VINTAGE-AR is now offering new replacement grilles, patterned from an original set of AR-LST grilles, complete with replacement grille cloth very similar to the original cloth. Without impacting the acoustics, we strengthened the frames. The grille cloth is an imported off white Irish linen with the little “slubs” (heavy pieces of thread) running up and down the grille. It took us six years to locate a source of this material. The photo of the pair of AR-LST speakers was taken during a recent customer restoration.
