VINTAGE-AR is now offering a pair of new replacement grilles, complete with replacement grille cloth for the AR-15 speakers. The AR-15 was originally provided with black foam grilles which have not been available for years. We’ve chosen to make these replacement grilles from wood to the same size and bevel as the foam grilles. They are then covered with black or brown acoustic cloth. The black matches the AR 9 Series speakers, the brown, similar to the AR 9LS series. This listing is for the brown option. These depicted are the brown cloth installed for a customer configuring the AR-15 as the rear speakers in a surround system utilizing the AR 9LS as the front channels. We will provide you with velcro to staple on the rear of the grilles to match mating velcro like fasteners that are mounted on the face of your cabinets. We will also consider making these grilles for additional AR speakers that utilized the foam grilles.
